Safo Newman, a rising musician from Ghana known for his hit song “Akokoa,” recently addressed concerns raised about him on social media. Over the past two weeks, he unintentionally became a trending topic, with many expressing worries about his public appearances, speech, and behavior.
In an interview with Code Micky on Code Micky TV, Safo Newman responded to these concerns, dismissing recommendations and worries from Ghanaians. When asked about suggestions that he pursue songwriting instead of singing himself, Safo Newman asserted his commitment to singing, stating, “Yes, I have seen a lot of remarks. Everybody has a dream. And you weren’t there when I was dreaming. I’ve been doing this for years, so singing is my direction. I dreamed and you were not present. Nobody has been coerced by me to approve of what I am doing.”
His response reflects his confidence in his chosen path and highlights his determination to pursue his musical aspirations despite criticism.
