Tonto Dikeh, a well-known Nollywood actress, has given an explanation of why she occasionally gives thanks to God for not knowing her biological mother.
In a Chude Chideonwo interview, Tonto Dikeh made this startling admission while honouring the influence of her late stepmother.
She claimed, “The only woman in my life who helped me when I left home to pursue a career in the entertainment industry was my stepmom.
She is the only person who has ever blessed me, given me clothing, food, and prayer as a mother.
She gave more than she had, and she was the mother to whom I felt the most love. Because of her, I sometimes thank God I was never introduced to my mother because she would not have been as admirable as this. She was the best woman on earth.
The actress had lost her stepmother in January of this year.
