Ghanaian music sensation, Belinda Nana Ekua Amoah, known in showbiz as Mzbel, recently expressed her strong desire to work alongside two well-known Nigerian music icons, Burna Boy and Don Jazzy.
During an interview with Joy Prime in Accra, Mzbel enthusiastically discussed her eagerness to collaborate with these renowned Nigerian artists. She revealed that she has been making persistent efforts to team up with Burna Boy. Simultaneously, she mentioned that discussions with Don Jazzy, the acclaimed singer-songwriter, music executive, and mogul, are currently in progress, and there is encouraging progress.
Mzbel, who welcomed her second child in July, noted that her team is in contact with the teams of these Nigerian artists, raising hopes for potential collaborations in the future.
In the event that Burna Boy is unable to participate or declines, Mzbel added that she is also engaged in conversations with Don Jazzy. She emphasized that there is evident progress in this regard.
Regardless of whether she succeeds in collaborating with Burna Boy or not, Mzbel is actively pursuing the possibility of partnering with Don Jazzy. She expressed optimism, suggesting that the chances are currently leaning towards a 70/30 probability. Mzbel also hinted at the exciting potential of a musical collaboration between Nigeria and herself in the near future.
Her latest hit, titled “Asibolanga,” was released in 2022.
