David Adeleke, better known by his stage name Davido, is a well-known Nigerian singer. He recently responded to Burna Boy’s assertion that he is Davido’s (Davido’s) musical uncle.
In a previous post, Burna Boy identified himself as Devido’s uncle and referred to Wizkid as the father of all Nigerian entertainers.
This follows a controversial post in which Wizkid, a singer, boasted about his dominance in the Nigerian music industry and demanded to be addressed as sir or daddy before mentioning his name.
Burna Boy wrote, “Lmao, normally Wizkid na every Naija artistes popsy for sure,” in support of Wizkid. But I’m Davido’s uncle for music matters! Yes, I did say it.
“Nigga until you stop making music I’m going to be bigger than you, I ain’t the one that signed a slave deal with your record label because you want to chase numbers and be bigger than Wizkid & myself,” David wrote in response.
