Halima Abubakar, a Nollywood actress, has responded to Apostle Johnson Suleman’s legal action against her.
Remember that the two have been at odds since the actress claimed she was in a romantic relationship with the cleric.
Halima, who is battling an unknown illness, also accused him of feeding negative stories about her to bloggers.
“It is our brief that you caused malicious, defamatory, and demeaning statements about our client to be published in several micro-blog sites, chiefly Gistlover, and your Instagram handle Halima Abubakar, which have a wider reach within Nigeria and around the world,” the suit stated.
“These statements, made by you with full knowledge that they are false, untrue, malicious, defamatory, baseless, and a tool of blackmail of our client, impugn our client’s reputation and reduce him in the eyes of responsible and right thinking members of society.”
Halima responded on her Instagram page, saying she will meet him in court.
“JS, See,” she wrote ”JS, See you at the court.”
